Our Principle Consultant

Professor Awadalla Al-Azhari (the Sheikh) is a Scholar from Egypt, who is now based in Manchester. The respected Sheikh (db) has been trained in traditional Islamic scholarship with an unbroken line of transmission back to our Beloved Imam, Sayed Al Anbiya, Rasool Allah (S).  

In parallel to this scholastic tradition, Sheikh has also acquired a range of higher education and postgraduate qualifications including Bachelor's degree, Masters and PhD, primarily in Social Sciences.  As well as being the Principal Consultant of ACT Ltd, Sheikh is a qualified Cultural Consultant, providing social and educational counselling across a wide range of services. Prof. Awadalla Youssef  is a dedicated professional who has a wealth of knowledge and experience in education, teaching, training, counselling and emotional health, to offer all those working with children, young people and adults of all ages.

With the Will of Allah (T), Sheikhs background and experiences have provided opportunities to analyse modern day issues affecting not just Muslims but the community at large, and how we can have greater social cohesion to serve Islam, as one Ummah, and with the spirit of Sahabat (R).
